About Me

Wendy Aguilar, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed speech-language pathologist and creator of Stutter Squad Academy, an educational video-based program designed to support the cognitive and emotional growth of school-aged children who stutter.
Wendy is a lifelong person who stutters, which inspired her passion for the field of speech-language pathology. She earned her undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton, where her dedication to stuttering advocacy earned her the sole student position at The Center for Children Who Stutter. She later obtained her master’s degree from California State University, Northridge, and began her career as a school-based SLP in Moreno Valley, California.
Recognizing a significant need for accessible, child-friendly resources on stuttering within school settings, Wendy created Stutter Squad Academy to help students explore stuttering with understanding, confidence, and self-acceptance.
Wendy is also the author of the children’s book Stutterland, a faith-filled story that reminds kids who stutter that their voices have purpose—exactly as God created them to be. 💙
